Hydraulic cylinder drawings: brief in, drawing out.
Give us six numbers and get a dimensioned general-arrangement sketch of your cylinder — with the Hydrocyl™ ordering code assembled for you. Indicative geometry, engineering-review accuracy comes with the quote.
GA sketch · indicative geometry · not for manufacture — the engineering file that ships with every Hydrocyl™ is dimensionally exact.
Draw a hydraulic cylinder in three steps.
The ordering code, segment by segment.
Bore and rod are padded to three digits, so a 70 mm rod reads 070.
The rear mounting (CA, CP or MS) is drawn but not coded: name it in the quote notes or attach the PNG. Trunnions and other mountings are listed on the HYC-N, HYC-T, HYC-F and HYC-W pages.
A GA sketch, not a production drawing.
Drawing Studio questions. Answered plainly.
01 Is the Drawing Studio free?
Yes. Drawing and both downloads are free, with no sign-up. The sketch is generated in your browser.
02 Is the drawing to scale? Can it be used for manufacture?
No. The title block says NOT TO SCALE and every export is marked NOT FOR MANUFACTURE. Engineering-reviewed drawings come with the quotation.
03 Can I send my own drawing instead?
Yes. The quote form accepts PDF, PNG, JPG, STEP, DWG and DXF files up to 10 MB.
04 What happens after I send the code?
‘Quote these specs’ opens the quote form with the code filled in. Soydan engineering reviews every request; a binding quotation typically follows within 1–3 working days.
05 Which series and standards does it cover?
Four Hydrocyl™ families: HYC-N (ISO 6020-1), HYC-T (ISO 6020-2), HYC-F (ISO 6022) and HYC-W (welded). For mill-type (HYC-M) or servo (HYC-S) cylinders, send your drawing through the quote form.
