Testing
Are cylinders sample-tested, or tested one by one?
One by one, to ISO 10100, at working pressure and at 1.5× that pressure; each cylinder ships with a signed, serialised report.
Materials
Where do the tube, rod and seals come from?
Honed tube and hard-chrome-plated rod are of European origin; seals are from Kastaş, alongside Trelleborg and other European brands.
Documentation
Which documents come with the cylinder?
Drawing, buckling calculation for long strokes, test report and manual come with every cylinder; 3.1 material certificates (EN 10204) on request.
Capacity and continuity
How do quality and delivery stay consistent on series orders?
PPAP-style first-sample approval and revision control; delivery performance is measured in the customer's own system.

An integrated plant. Core processes under one roof.
The works in the İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone covers 5,000 m², 3,000 m² of it under roof. CNC machining, EN ISO 3834-2 certified welding, painting, assembly and testing are in-house, on honed tubes and hard-chromed rods from European mills, so responsibility for dimensions and delivery sits in one place.
Standard production covers Ø25–400 mm bore, Ø16–280 mm rod and strokes to 4,000 mm; project cylinders reach Ø1,000 mm bore, Ø700 mm rod, 12 m stroke and 400 bar working pressure. Hydraulic power units are built here too, so cylinder, manifold block and power unit can come from one supplier.

Send a drawing (PDF, DWG or STEP), a sample or application data: force, stroke, pressure, speed, mounting, environment, quantity. An application data sheet follows within 48 hours.

Design
Buckling and strength calculations, seal and material selection, then a 2D/3D drawing for your approval.

Manufacture
Machining, welding, painting, assembly and testing under one roof in İzmir; honed tubes and hard-chromed rods come from European mills.

Test and dispatch
ISO 10100 pressure test with a signed, serialised report. ISPM-15 heat-treated wooden crates; Incoterms agreed per order.

A verbal assurance is not enough; ask for the file. The test report, approved drawing and manual come with every Hydrocyl™ cylinder; material and welding documents on request.

ISO 10100 test report
Signed and matched to the serial number; it records the test at working pressure and at 1.5× that pressure, the date and the tester.

Material certificates
On request: 3.1 material certificates to EN 10204 for tube, rod and flange. Traceability of the European tube and rod starts here.

Welding documents
On request, under EN ISO 3834-2: welding procedure specification (WPS), welder certificates and the signed NDT Level II inspection report.

Approved drawing and revision
The 2D/3D drawing is held under a revision number; repeat orders are built to the same revision, and any change needs your approval.

Operating and maintenance manual
Commissioning, bleeding, tightening torques and maintenance intervals. Seal kits are ordered by serial number from the cylinder's spare parts list.

Company certificates
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (valid until 24 August 2027) and EN ISO 3834-2 (valid until 1 September 2027) are on the downloads page.

What happens in a supplier audit?
An illustrative example: a machine builder selling into Europe wants a second source for a few hundred cylinders a year. Purchasing asks about price; quality asks for the test report of a sample cylinder, the welding certificate and a one-day audit. At each station the auditor checks traceability: which certificate came with this tube, who made this weld, where is this cylinder's report?
Our answer is the set of documents listed above, plus a PPAP-style file for the first sample. The aim is to be audit-ready at every shipment, not to pass once. Factory audits are welcome; arrange one through the contact page.

What buyers ask when choosing a manufacturer.
What matters most when choosing a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer?
Test and documentation discipline. Catalogue dimensions look alike; what differs is whether every cylinder is pressure tested, whether the welding is certified and which documents ship with it. Every Soydan Hidrolik cylinder is tested to ISO 10100 and ships with a signed, serialised report.
Which standards do you manufacture to?
ISO 6020-1 (HYC-N, mobile), ISO 6020-2 (HYC-T, CETOP tie-rod) and ISO 6022 (HYC-F, round-flange), plus welded (HYC-W), mill-type (HYC-M) and servo (HYC-S) cylinders. Welding is certified to EN ISO 3834-2; management systems to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Do you accept one-off or low-volume orders?
Yes, from a single prototype to annual series supply. On series orders, engineering and set-up are planned once, so the unit cost falls.
What is the lead time, and on what delivery terms?
Under 10 weeks ex-works after drawing approval for custom cylinders; the firm date is written into the quotation. Series and repeat orders follow a call-off schedule under a framework agreement. Incoterms are agreed per order.
Can we visit or audit the factory?
Yes. The works is in the İzmir Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone (AOSB, Çiğli), directly off the İzmir ring road. Supplier audits and technical visits are welcome by appointment.
